Max-Music was set up in 1989 by founder GOFF RICHARDS with the aim of producing new and exciting works for choirs.
The majority of the publications feature his own compositions and arrangements.
Goff has achieved an international reputation for his instrumental music but maxmusic is the main outlet for his choral works. With the introduction of max-music.net, the complete catalogue is now available online.
Goff’s music has been performed by a variety of choral groups including the King’s Singers, the Swingle Singers, Huddersfield Choral Society, London Choral Society, Cheltenham Bach Choir; Reading Phoenix Choir and many leading British Male Voice Choirs.
Other writers of note to feature in the maxmusic catalogue include Gordon Langford, Grayston Ives, Bill Connor, Robin Dewhurst and Harold Noble.
The maxmusic catalogue covers a variety of musical styles ranging from choral test pieces to Christmas items, and original compositions to arrangements of folk and popular songs. Several of these works are
available with optional accompaniments including Symphony Orchestra, Wind Band, Brass Band, Brass Ensemble, Wind Quintet or Piano.
